Bringing Change

My name is Syeda Farah Azmi and I belong to a respectable family which is God fearing and very down to earth. Me and my family resides in Sialkot Pakistan. Sialkot is an industrial area and is famous for manufacturing foot balls and other sports equipment. Sialkot is also famous in the work for manufacturing Surgical equipment too.

I am very eager to help, assist and empower women and young girls of my community who are facing number of problems, i.e. lack of education, lack of proper healthcare, discrimination, violence and nowadays forced early girl child marriages has made the lives of young girls worst.

I established a organization with the name of Roshni Welfare Organization (Roshni means \"Light\") and we are spreading the light which is bringing change in the lives of many women and young girls as we provide the skill training, opportunities to get education and above all we are educating mothers so somehow did not get opportunity to attend any school due to various reasons and now they are educating themselves and also educating their young ones at home and sending children to schools to get formal and proper education.

Roshni Welfare Organization is also working effectively for the elimination of Early and Forced Girl Child Marriages by organizing discussion programs with community members, local representatives, legislators and women rights activist so that we all come near and work for the elimination of Early and Forced Girl Child Marriage from the society.

Roshni Welfare Organization is being supported by its well wishers, sponsors and God fearing people and with all their help and support we are helping and empowering women and young girls of our region, however, their is lot of work to be done to help women and young girls to have a equal status in the society.

My Syeda Farah Azmi passion is to eliminate ignorance from the society by promoting education and peace.
