Smt. Jilapi Mahato, one SHG member of Bankati Swarna Jayanti Mahila Swanirbhar Dal of Bankati village under Manbazar – I block of Purulia district received a loan of Rs 20000.00 from Pairachali Watershed Committee through her SHG. During the year she started goat farming activity. This year (2016-17) she sold her goat @Rs 12000.00. She gained a net profit of Rs.8500.00 after paying all other expenses. It is a good initiative and exemplary work of goat farming for a Hard Core poor in Purulia district.
