Breaking the Bias - Story Telling Training

International Women Day was celebrated in a grand style as Women Inspiration Development Center in collaboration with World Pulse to train 40 girls on story telling based on the story telling module developed by World Pulse training suite. Storytelling is germane in breaking bias.

To achieve a world without bias, stereotype and discrimination, we need to raise our voices, we need to tell our stories and ask for change. The girls were so excited with the training and they were encouraged to start telling their stories immediately both online and offline.

Culture of silence has been a serious problem plaquing Nigeria women and girls, therefore it is germane for girls in Nigeria to find their voices and equipped to tell their stories so that the silence around Gender Based violence would be broken and the menace would be minimized in our society.

We are breaking the Bias that women have to be silent! We are free to raise our voices and tell our stories
