I no longer make New Year's ResolutionsBut I seek God to accomplish a particular goal for each year One Goal I have set for myself this year is to continue building my library , especially reading work from female authors, works that came out of amazing challenges and life's experiences.Works that leave you empowered and inspired,motivated to press on, along your own journey.
I'm determined to continue building my hard copy collectionI already read a lot, from a child I found solace in reading as it takes you to places in your imagination and opens your mind to endless possibilities.And you learn so much. On my WP platform I'm proud to have read over 550 stories since 2021 when I became an active writer / storyteller there , but about 300 last year alone, from women from across the globe, stories written out of varied true life challenges or stories based on deep research and their championing, raising their voices on global issues, like Gender Based Violence, Climate Change, Human Trafficking, Child Labour, Women's Health, Poverty Eradication etc Or just stories about their accomplishments in spite of challenges, or celebrations of Life, Love, Art, Education .Stories that inspire, educate, motivate or encourage.
God is so good, he knows my desire, so at Christmas I was invited to an online mix and mingle by my dear soul sister Karla Scipio and most of the women there where US life coaches, accomplished authors and most of all they had powerful stories and experienced God s amazing grace and transforming power. It was a beautiful evening of sharing, laughter and sisterlove and I won my frist hard copy from one of these accomplished authors.. Its on its way, but I got the E- copy last evening and I can't wait to sit and delve into it later absorbing all that it would give to me and then do a book review.
