Being a Hero to someone....

Hi friends,

Today I am gonna share a small incident which happened a few days ago....

So I was coming home from office in the evening. I had left my workplace a little late that evening, and I am so glad I did. You will know why. I work as a Senior Executive for Video Banking Channel in a bank. SO, there is pressure for completing my targets, which I usually don't care about :-):-):-)

I first took a train from my workplace to another station  which is around 7-8 minutes away. Then I boarded a bus from the station to reach my destination which is around 15-20 minutes away. The bus was crowded as usual. People were returning from their offices and that bus is the only one that caters to my area. I luckily got a seat as I was ahead in the queue. Around 5 minutes n the ride, a girl boarded the bus and stood next to my seat. I had tried to ask her if she wanted to sit but I was unable to because of the crowd. I usually put on my headphones when I am travelling as it releases whatever stress I might have. While I was listening to the same, I came across a man in his 40's who was standing behind that girl. At first, I was relaxed as he was at a distance. However, as the time passed by, the distance became lesser and lesser. I had to do something. I won't lie when I say that I took around 5 minutes thinking if I should act or not. Finally, I decided enough is enough when he was getting really close to her. I stood up and asked her if she wanted to sit. Thankfully, she obliged. I stood near her seat so that I could keep a watch on that guy's actions. I had to talk to that girl about the same. Finally, we reached our destination. After getting down from the bus, I told her that the guy was really getting close to her. That is the reason I offered her a seat.  I also told her that I waited for a long time before taking action. She said its fine, said "Thank You" and left. As I was walking towards my home, which is 10 minutes from the bus stand, I was feeling proud of myself that I did something for a girl. It indeed feels great to help someone and do something for others.

To conclude, I would say that incident was a 'Being a HERO to someone' moment for me. Hence, the title.

Hopefully, I will continue to carry on helping women and girls. THAT is my sole purpose now in this shitty world.

Love and love always,

Bhavneet:-):-):-)
