ATP 2021 Journey

What another year through the pandemic 2021 has been! I am excited to present to you this magazine that has chronicled all our programmes, outreaches and events for this eventful year. This is the second year running with the global Covid19 pandemic. Despite all the challenges, Ask The Paediatricians Foundation has continued to actively support families online and offline through our various programmes.

Our online programmes have continued unhindered and has become a great source of support for many on health issues. Our Facebook group hits a milestone 700,000 membership in December 2021. We also opened a new Facebook group to support parents who have experienced pregnancy and child losses. Known as ATP Still A Mum Nigeria. This group is supported by trained peer mentors who offered first aid psychological and emotional support to such parents and make referral to other professionals where this is needed. The group has members already close to 2000. Our ATP Family for adult health issues is now close to the 100,000 membership mark. One of our goals is to reach 1 million parents and carers on our Facebook group. Our Instagram followership also hits 20,000.

Throughout the year we have been consistent with our ATP LIVE on Mondays which is a live video streaming programme on all our social media handles that give parents and carers of children opportunities to ask questions and get answers live from a paediatrician.

We look forward to reaching more in 2022!
