At Long Last ,it's Out!

\"Better is the end of a thing than the beginning\". This became my motivation to seeing that our EndSars poems written by the women in my online writing platform saw the light of day.

We had captured the good ,the bad and the ugly situations in my country Nigeria during the protests.

We had hailed the youth, cried for them and wept for mother's in our works.

We came together,holding our pens and keyboards with tears pouring down with no restrain we captured what our hearts could take at the time.

Finally ,it's out. Not from professional poets but from ordinary women willing to lend  their voices against brutality and oppression. Women whose only desire is to see a country where their children can walk around freely without fear.

Women who seek not to let the creative ability they exhibited as girls die because they are now mothers and wives.

Women who from the corners of their various houses have decided to be the voice of the voiceless.
