Another chance for Teenage mothers.

At the onset of Covid, schools in Kenya were closed down. For close to a year children stayed at home. Then shocking news started trickling into teenage pregnancies.11,842 pregnancies were reported in 2020 (In Trans Nzoia County alone) and According to the United Nations Population Fund Report, Kenya has recorded 378, 397 adolescent and teenage pregnancies for girls aged 10-19 ... These figures are sickening. The worst part is that after birth the girls are left to look for odd jobs to take care of themselves and their children. The stigma they get from society is on another level. All they think of is getting married to at least get someone who can cushion them but this is not the solution. These girls need another chance. They need to go back to school or have the technical training to Empower them economically. A woman for Another Woman. Yes, we can.
