On 25th November 2022 , I participated as a panelist in sharing work on agroecology in relation to climate change and food sovereignty. The forum was organised by CRAWN Trust and partners and took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi. The convening brought together women, scientists, politicians and government ministries to deliberate .The forum focused on :
-Gendered impacts of climate change
-Water sanitation and hygiene ( including water for sex phenomenon in Kenya's urban based informal settlements)
-Women's voices and leadership in climate justice
-Climate change and importance of food sovereignty
-UNFCC COP27 Commitments for Kenya
