Am new but feels like have been here from the start

Together in one

Us

*Hello sisters, I am Akillah from Kampala, Uganda*

My name is Nakachwa Akillah. I am a Senior 4 graduate, 18, based in Kampala. I work 100% from my phone and I am learning to become an online secretary / virtual assistant.

I joined World Pulse because I believe in a gentle revolution. I believe we don't have to shout to be heard. Sometimes a whisper, a private message, a shared story is more powerful.

I love learning about different cultures — I love anime, and I dream of having friends from Eastern Asia and all over the world. I want to understand how girls live, study, work and stay safe online in different countries.

I am passionate about two things:

1. Making the internet a safer, kinder place for girls (Feminist Internet)

2. Helping women with organization, typing, and daily online support

I have no big experience yet, but I have a phone, time, good English, and a big heart to listen and keep secrets safe.

I would love to connect with sisters who can mentor me, especially from Asia, Africa, and anywhere else. Let's whisper, share, and build our own quiet revolution.
