In October 2021 , 40 rural women were trained on agroecology which involved soil, seeds , care for crops and post harvest .
The women are not utilising knowledge gained in the training , some has started making composts on their soil, others carried out basic soil test to understand the texture and water retention capacity of their soil.These women will start embarking on indigenous seed saving using seed banks and initiating seed learning spaces.
