Catherine Djiemo Foundation team have been on this project for while now. Am so excited to share this with my world pulse family.
We started with giving after-school lessons to IDP in Tiko. Then each day more kids turn up and more. Today we got 2 employed teachers, one Hairstylist and a social worker taking care of our kids.
Our activities now include after-school lessons, workshops on video editing, photoshop, dancing, poetry, baking, a braiding center providing skills . We also focus on workshops on SRHR, human right with emphasis on rights for persons with any disabilities.
We could not do this without our partners Sabibi primary, secondary and high school in Tiko. They provid us with free space for all our activities
Our kids get a safe space that can inspire and protect them while parents are still at their jobsites.
Family we need computers, sportwear,hair braiding equipments or anything to support our work .
We are sp humbled to be part of these kids lives ,mentoring, inspiring,learning and unlearning through our interactiins with them.
