Abusing children sexually

April was Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) awareness month. As many are aware, CSA is a crime perpetrated against children across the age, gender and socio economic spectrum by older people they know. Its painful impact sometimes lasts throughout the life of the victim.

Attached is a ready reckoner on CSA created by International Services Association, India (INSA-India), a non-profit organization based in Bangalore, India. INSA-India creates awareness and provides counselling on issues of sexual abuse, adolescent health and HIV prevention, among youth in different parts of South Asia and Africa.

http://csaawarenessmonth.wordpress.com/ also lists invaluable information and resources on the malady called CSA.
