ABOUT CHILD WIDOWS RESEARCH

story
Hello Mohinder,
I will try to answer the questions asked about the study you are doing:
1. Yes, we are aware of the problem of widowed children. There are children who get married for example at 15 and 18 and become widowed. According to custom, they can not remarry and are sentenced to forced widowhood.
2. It is by experience that I make this testimony because our entity is an environment that has experienced wars since 1964 to the present day. We have lost so many people that we have adopted the system of early marrying children, so early marriages and forced marriages to preserve offspring. We have several cases, we need means to reach them in rural areas (presently I am in the city). There was talk of a local organization of people who built a school to support some of these orphans (children of these widows).
3. I can be in contact through this organization because their participation is limited or if there are means, try to reach others because they are numerous. These are really people who must be supported because they are in misery. The primary needs are: education, health or, to be honest, the holistic supervision of the victims in order to make them empower themselves.
4. To eradicate this story of widows of children, you must:
• Make and multiply training sessions at the local level, on the negative impact of early and forced marriages. Break some of our customs ...
• Punish the perpetrators of this practice.
• Seek to involve the national and international community in solving the problem.
5. There is a lot of information if you look for them especially in remote areas.
That's dear Mohinder, what I found, you will tell me if it was useful to you.
Be blessed!
