A wish.

Dear mr. President,
dear mrs. State Secretary,

my letter, as many many others arriving, is a wish, a hope, and maybe a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I wish all of us a world in which the dignity of all people is welcomed and celebrated.
A world, where no arbitrary value rating due to gender, race, religious or political believe is applied.
Where all can feel free to care for a future in which all our children will thrive, without having to choose arbitrarily who will starve to death, and who survives.
Where no self-appointed Normalities will ever strike again.

I wish a world where all lives, all intelligences are welcome.
Where all voices, besides being heard, can freely speak.
Where all flowers may be born, flourish, fructify, and finally die not in vain.

A world which is able to cooperate, care, share, and see through.

You see. None of these requests is specific to "women", although women bear the largest burden of their underlying reason.

And, they cost "nothing". Paying them would require just a tiny crumb of love.

Let my own crumb join the whole river!

With love, and immense thanks

Mauri Favaron,

writing from Lomagna, Italy

(on a day which, after three weeks of rain, I've finally seen the Sun shine again. A good omen?!)
