A visit to the State House

The day my mum left for the international conference in Mexico i was at home with the siblings,my dad had gone with her so i was to take care of the house but by suprise my teacher came to me and told me that the scouts are supposed to go to the state house.

She said that they were scouts to meet the president i was amazed my mum had gone for a journey and i was the only person in the house.By luck my dad was coming back on the day before the meeting ,so i was lucky enough.I had to go with the full scouts uniform by luck my mum's friend Karen Zwickert had bought me the uniform,it's always expensive about 3500kenyan shillings is spent on it.

I prepared myself well and the next day left for the bus station very early i n the morning,i met with my teacher and we left for the journey. it was fine i saw lots of things on the way.soon we were to Nairobi we rushed to the state house were all types of people from all over Kenya came with the scouts full uniform it was an amazing site.

We had to be lined for identity so it took a very long time to get in the field we started waiting for the president \"Here comes the president, may we please arise for the national anthem in honor of the president\"I was excited i had never met the president in person he inspected the parade and i shook hands with him i was very happy,it was a nice scene and after that we went for dinner the meeting was a nice one and i'm proud of my country.
