2022 National GBV Conference

As the rates of the safety of women, security and GBV continues to rise, so does our concern. NIgeria may have gone off the list of the most dangerous countries in the world for women in 2022, yet that does not in anyway translate to the safety and security of women and girls in Nigeria.#

And that is why Sheroes Rising Development Initiative resolved to host the National GBV confrerence 2022. The conference will host satkeholders in gender development, policy and decision makers, and presidential candidates.  The expected outcomes of the conference is to get a more elavorate understanding of the causes, effects and lasting solutions  to GBV/VAWG.

The conference was initially slated for June 2022, but my political mandate got in the way. It is now slated for 25th November 2022 in commemoration of the 19 Days action against VAWGs.

The conference has reputable institutions and organisations like WRAPA, SPOTLIGHT INITIATIVE and media organisations like AIT and FRCN as partners. 

Ending GBV is everyone's responsibility especially US, WOMEN. 

Sheroes Rising Develoment Initiative is open to partnership and collaborations from like minded individuals and organisartions who would like to lend thier voice, advocacy and commitment to addressing and ending GBV/VAWGs.
