2 Volunteers Wanted: Teaching Basic English to Indonesian Trafficking Survivors

One of our driven and amazing Liluye partners, Mentari, is looking for two volunteers to help Indonesian trafficking survivors to learn basic English via Zoom. Over 14 students are expected for the classes.

The survivors want to learn English because they engage with foreigners who come to visit them, but they can't communicate well due to their current lack of English language skills. Most of them lack income, so they're unable to pay for English classes, and many of them are turned down or lose employment opportunities, too, as a result.

The classes would be for two months, starting February 28th, on every Tuesday and Friday from 8-9:30 AM EST.

Please note: the volunteer doesn't need to know Indonesian.

Let me know if you're interested, and private message me if you would like to be considered, including your resume, qualifications, and/or LinkedIn profile, so I can send them on to the organization.

Thanks in advance!
