Liluye has had a great January, having some amazing new opportunities, team members and connections.
To wrap up National
Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, we would like to invite
you to a special roundtable about violence against boys and men. It's
the 1st Annual Special Roundtable featuring an often overlooked topic of
male survivors of violence and exploitation.
The panel will be discussing essential topics such as helping men and boys to feel safe and able to open up, where they can go for help, what true consent is, how societal views help to perpetuate generational cycles of abuse and violence and how to break those cycles, how to foster resilience in survivors, and what makes boys susceptible to violence and it can be addressed.
Speakers include Cranford Blackmon, Brenna Wallace, Andrea Smith, Ena Lucia Mariaca Pacheco, Ross Karl, two special guests/survivors, and myself.
Date: Tuesday, January 31st from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (MST)
Register here: https://buff.ly/3XRdeRd
Your donation will be used to help male survivors of exploitation with emergency shelter and peer support so they can be empowered to leave their abusive circumstances.
