17VIC471, free tuition for veterans

Last week, I met with the Legislative Director for a neighborhood Senator of the 28th Legislature of the Virgin Islands. I made a written request for the Code to be revised by extending the free tuition for veterans to on-line accredited colleges/university. Presently, the Code limits the tuition for use solely at the University of the Virgin Islands. My position is that the Code seems frozen and inflexible, given today's pace of technology. I expressed that the revision was necessary to meet the demands of a changing world, ripe with new educational opportunities.
I am so excited to be an instrument for change! What's new with you?
