100 Women

I recently joined a group called \"100 Women\". The group raises money for charitable organizations. Each woman (or group of 4) donates $100. We meet 4 times a year and once our organization reaches the goal of 100 women members, we will be writing checks of $10,000 for the charity we decide to support! Every woman (or group of women) nominates a local charity and then speaks to the whole group about what that charity does in our local community. After hearing about three charities (randomly drawn) each woman casts a vote and the winning charity receives the total amount.
