I am undergoing this training with WIDC an NGO based in Ile ife, Osun state, Nigeria.&nbsp;

There are lots of reason why one should share their story. Some of which include:

sharing your story has the potential to help someone else feel less alone. Our stories are powerful because they evoke compassion even among strangers. 

We also create opportunities to understand others better and to cultivate empathy towards them.

Sharing ones story could attract people to assist you.

Sharing ones story could help people to learn from it.

One can share a story of theirs to serve as a guide for people not to fall into the kind of trap one fell into.

Generally people should tell their story for other to learn from it.

I am happy that I have the opportunity of this platform to tell my story.&nbsp;
