Distribute reusable pads to 10 adolescent girls

We identified 10 adolescent girls in Bambili village, educate them on personal body care as women. We improved their knowledge on menstruation as that biological characteristics that makes a young girl a woman. We also informed them on the various menstrual products needed to ensure proper menstrual hygiene management.  Each of the girls received 4 reusable pads to help her stay comfortable during her monthly flow.

Further, our next plan is to enhance their knowledge on how to understand and managers their menstrual cycle and the use of contraceptives.

CEFLife continue to improve the lives of adolescent girls and young women by advocating and promoting women's rights especial sexual and Reproductive health rights and the rights to safe and proper menstrual hygiene management.

Consequently, the myths and beliefs surounding  menstruation will gradually reduced. An increased number of young girls and women will feel comfortable during their periods, they will no longer miss out in their daily activities for fear of leak, and shaming. They will be more involve and productive in economic activities.
