Campaign Summary

School Health Campaign - Teenagers

Looking at theย  attendance levels and students participation, this gave us confirmation that this campaign was fruitful.

The pupils were always looking forward to these sessions, with lots of questions to ask.

However some questions were overwhelming, sometimes offensive, but strict ground rules were in place as a control measure, agreed by all

We learned so much from them and also identified constant need for this, thus mentorship sessions are still scheduled from time to time.

What's important with educating teenagers is :ย

1..coming down to their level , irrespective of your age,

2. Agree on ground rules for gate-keeping unacceptable behaviors

3. Show sympathy to gain their trust

4.Get them actively involved, sometimes taking charge ( this makes them to be free, and show their true self)ย
