For a long time, I believed purpose meant having everything figured out. But life, especially in recent times, has taught me something far more beautiful: purpose is rarely a straight road.
Sometimes it is showing up when you are tired.
Sometimes it is holding on when the path feels unclear.
Sometimes it is taking one small step when the bigger picture feels too heavy.
That is why I coined this mantra for myself: “Agility for purpose! One sprint at a time!”
As a woman in academia, both in my work and in my personal progression, and as someone deeply passionate about community work, I have learned that agility is not about speed. It is about grace under pressure. It is about adapting without losing direction. It is about staying flexible while remaining rooted in your mission.
Studies are completed one by one.
Partnerships are built conversation by conversation.
Impact is created step by step.
As I continue to pursue my many responsibilities and dreams, I have learned the value of prioritizing what matters, embracing each season, and making every step count.
To every woman carrying a dream that feels bigger than her current reality: keep going. Adjust when needed. Rest when necessary. But never disconnect from your purpose.
One sprint at a time, we will get there!
