From a Small Dream to a Global Vision

My name is Deve Perpetual Akaahan, and I come from Benue State, Nigeria. My life has been filled with dreams that often seemed bigger than my circumstances.

Growing up, I learned early that life does not always give equal opportunities. There were moments when I questioned whether my dreams were realistic. Financial limitations stood in my way time and time again. Yet every setback taught me resilience instead of surrender.

I discovered my passion for leadership, creativity, and using my voice to inspire others. I became involved in student leadership, developed skills in graphic design and UI/UX design, and pursued modeling. Each opportunity reminded me that our backgrounds do not have to determine our future.

My greatest desire is not simply to become successful. I want to create opportunities for others. I dream of building initiatives that empower young people, encourage leadership, and help those who feel invisible find hope again. I believe that when one woman rises, she can help many others rise with her.

But dreams also require resources.

There have been many days when I had to choose between investing in my future and meeting basic needs. Professional training, project development, transportation, internet access, competition fees, equipment, and other essential expenses often feel beyond my reach.

I have continued moving forward with determination, even when my finances could not keep up with my vision. I refuse to let hardship silence my purpose.

Today, I am humbly asking for help.
